That this Assembly expresses its deep sorrow for the passing of Mr Alan Jessop OAM, an outstanding Canberran who dedicated his life to serving others and improving the lives of those in need. We honour the life of a remarkable husband, father, grandfather and community servant whose contribution to Canberra will not be forgotten. Mr Parton (Leader of the Opposition) and Ms Clay (Leader of the ACT Greens) addressed the Assembly in support of the motion and all Members present having stood, in silence— Question—passed.
